As a point of interest I bought a HT-drive pedal last weekend and am running the emulated output into the aux of my Mustang amp. It sounds freakin' awesome! Having only ever owned my Mustang as an amp I now understand why people rave about tubes- the response to picking is fantastic and I am certainly having to clean up my act in that respect. With the pedal switched out you get a very clean (even ultra clean) tone and you can really appreciate the natural tone of your guitar; switch the tube in and the whole setup acts like a caged beast- straining to be released.

Solves all the problems about overloading the A/D input of the mustang preamp for a distortion pedal and a killer tone to boot.
Obviously now I can't use the onboard effects but that doesn't really both me at this stage. Vive l' experiment!
