Hi, I have just purchased the 'Floor' and I'm trying to create the same effect as used by the band 'The Black Keys' in their song 'Lonely Boy' where the pitch of the strings (bottom E in this case ) is dropped an octave when the pedal is pressed toe down.

Is this possible? if so how? because I only seem to be able to get the pitch to rise.

here is the link to the effect I'm after

Thanks
Alan.

Mmm - No replies, I guess no-one knows if it's possible with this unit. Fender? anybody?

That's a cool effect, I'd try it on my rig but I don't have the expression pedal yet ... hopefully this bump will bring your thread to the mods attention, they are excellent with getting answers to people, I can only figure it was missed when you posted it. Hang in there... :)

hi jones4,

My best suggestion would be to try the Pitch Shifter. That can be used as a 'down' octaver. I have played a bit with the stock Preset 02 Intro Clean, assigned and tested the Pitch Shifter there. Once you have the effect dialed in, you can experiment with expression pedal assignments as well. Please let me know if I can assist further.
