I've had my MII for a few months now and love it! I finally got around to connecting it to my laptop to record using Reaper and I must say it's great! I'm just doing guitar tracks at the moment as I need to invest in additional items (mixer, etc), but to satisfy the urge to record my Deluxe Players Strat, I must say using the USB from the MII rocks! Nice clean recordings! Headphones are only causing me to lose sleep as I can play all night and not wake my kids! LOLOL

I'm only a few steps ahead of you. I just picked up a Peavey PV6 USB mixing board and I'm borrowing my father's Shure SM57 mic and cord. Reaper came with the PV6 and I love it. I may even pay the $60 registration fee to keep using it. VERY user-friendly recording software...much easier to use and understand than Ableton.
