Download and install Amplitube 3 FREE.

Register with same details as you did with Amplitube Fender LE

Open the Amplitube Custom Shop ( installed with 3 FREE)

log in

update Amplitube 3

Open Amplitube 3 Free and your LE amps/cabs/mics/pedals have been added to 3 FREE.

As a bonus, 3 FREE allows recording without need of other prg ( such as Ableton).

Both versions of Amplitube run fine on same PC, though you'll probably just run 3 FREE.

EDIT - plus you can install on more than one PC with same details ( i have both on my Desktop and Laptop).

I've done this months ago and I like the amp models...so much that I spent about $150 on the Custom Shop for credits and I now have almost all of the Orange amps, the SLO-100, another two Marshall amps, two Mesa amps, the Peavey 5150, Randal Warhead, Engl amp, a number of cabs, etc. I usually wait to get the models when they go on sale. The program is bad-ass.

And if you use your Fender-issued copy of Ableton Lite, you can run AmpliTube 3 FREE as the plug-in just like you did with AmpliTube Fender LE.

hi FFXIhealer

havent bothered with Ableton yet.

Only recently remembered that I had an M-Audio Jamlab USB interface which I bought in Japan over 2 years ago. Didnt work with Win XP then without problems, but works fine with Win 7 and is recognised by LinuxMint ( havent tried actually using it on linux yet).

What interface are you using????

A Rocksmith 1/4"-to-USB cable that came with my PS3 copy of Rocksmith. I use ASIO4All with it and it's flawless.

best way, else you could end up spending more than the full program is worth.

will wait a bit before buying modules - probably need better speakers than my pc's logitech Z5 set.

First amp models to get will be those closest to my "real" amps:-

Tweed Deluxe ( 5E3), Fender Concert II ( Rivera blackface model), Boogie IIc+.
