Hello

I have a Mustang 1 and I have been messing around with it, changing the presets, loading new ones. I would like to restore a couple of presets, but I cannot find a way to do this. I can do a factory reset, but that will kill all my other ones.

Is there any way to restore a single preset?

The only way to restore one preset is if you first save it to the computer using FUSE - then copy it back to the amp at a later date (for instance, after a factory reset).

If you create a backup (or two or three), you can use the third party software "HorseTamer" to create custom backup sets via drag and drop with your mouse.

Hmm, that's kind of a pain.

How do you pull a preset from the amp and save it on the computer?

Are you guys just not aware of where FUSE keeps the backup files when you perform one? Check
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Fender\FUSE\Backups\<year_month_day_hour_minute_second>\Presets\
This is where you'll find all of the preset backups. Here, you can restore them INDIVIDUALLY to any preset on the amp by loading the preset directly into FUSE, then saving it to the appropriate preset slot on the amp.

Nah it's not a pain. Just save the preset as something else before you do changes. Easy.

Or just use the drop down box and change it back. Easier.
