Okay I tried a better look through my Ebay/damaged Mustang I today.

I noticed when it was connected to the computer it was making a "Computer noise" . Got themobile out

Normal? I'm a bit dubious as it looks like the back panel has been off.

Hey johnston,

It only makes that noise when connected to the computer? You bought it off of ebay?

Yeah came of ebay. Due to the work situation (I.e. None) every penny counts

So far only when on the computer but only had it plugged in twice due to the fact it might go back. Although seller says he won't refund postage. Total postage both ways £30 amp price £42

Great amp BTW just regretting getting a scam artist on the bay  (First time I've had to open a dispute)

Not having anyone having them in stock locally I havn't been able to try one before so just don't know whats normal and whats not.

I"m sorry the purchase didn't work out well. I'm guessing the original seller has no idea what may have happened? If he signs the original receipt over to you and you a have service center nearby you can possibly get it fixed pretty quickly. That's if you want to go through the trouble.

No probs Loren, thanks for the info. I don't think that would even work as it looks like someone has been in it so who knows what lurks below.

And the seller is about as helpful as a politician in a crisis.

At least I know it IS faulty. Going on the way it was packaged I think the seller knew right away and hoped to blame it on the post man. But it gives me ammo for Ebay.

Just basically a scammer. Sadly he seems to sell a lot of 2nd hand Fender amps , so I wonder if he has a source of returns from somewhere.

Well no matter what it will let me do for now until I get another it'll at least give me a speaker for something else  Or use the box to make a nice tweed one to house the next one 8)
