Post subject: Sanyo pedal juice for a Mini 7

I am not clear about answer I got on subject of wall warts, so starting a new post.
Sanyo pedal juice puts out 9 volts. Wall wart socket on Mini 7 is for 12 volts. If I plug in the pedal juice will the amp be happy with that voltage, or will I need to splice into the the leads from battery compartment and add a jack for the pedal juice as the batteries put out 9 volts.
I'm just askin'....

Hey Emster,

I don't see why this couldn't have stayed in the same thread.

Anyways, as I might have mentioned before, the Mini has no problem running off of 9V. The batteries only provide 9V of power. You may notice a difference in sound at high volumes when operating on 9V but that should be all.

Also I'd never recommend cutting battery leads, which would void your warranty.
