Hi,

I just wanted to share a recording I made and show what these Mustang amps are capable of.

I used my Fender Am Std Strat and Mustang III, recorded straight from USB into Audacity.

The song is 'Yer Blues' originally done by the Beatles. I used a backing track with drums and bass. And I played all rhythm and lead guitars.

I double tracked all my guitar parts (duplicated then panned left / right). To give it a fuller sound. Other than that, I adjusted some of the levels to try to get a good mix. Didn't use any effects other than what I tweaked in my presets on the amp. Pretty much, what you hear is what you get straight from the Mustang.

Oh, I even used the Mustang to record the vocals. I set up a clean patch with a little echo and plugged my mic into the guitar input. worked out OK I think. (never mind my singing :| ).

Anyway, I'm sure there's plenty to critic, but I just wanted to show off what one can do with a poor man's recording studio.
