Hey Gary,

You don't need a MIDI interface to be able to record audio. We don't provide support for Audacity but if you give us a call we may be able to help you out.

Hi, I've successfully selected my amp in Audacity but my computer (and by extension Audacity) recognizes it as super low even though it is in fact an acceptable bedroom level. Is there a way to boost the volume level in my computer/Audacity so I can record without having to make my amp ridiculously loud?

Thanks!

The volume control on the amp does nothing for the USB recording volume. If you hear a difference, it might be because you are recoding through your computers internal microphone?

To turn the USB recording volume up, you have to turn up "USB Gain" under the advanced amp settings in FUSE. I think there is a way to do it without FUSE, but I can't remember

Hi Fellas,

Here's a link to Fuse articles to solve the USB Gain setting
problem on the amp itself - without Fuse !

I'm having similar troubles, I can get Amplitue to recognise the mustang do the Fender AISO is obviously installed and working, but I don't even get the option for AISO and certainly not the Mustang in Audacity.

For everyone crying about how Audacity won't let you do ASIO, you should probably read this Wiki entry.

http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=ASIO_Audio_Interface

Audacity does not natively support ASIO. Period. You know what DOES? Reaper. And Reaper is a fantastically easier recording program than Ableton is...but has a few less features.

Thanks, I'll give Reaper a try.

Not looking for anything fancy, just want to plug in and record whatever I happen to be playing.
