I haven't made it back to the states yet to get one, haven't seen one either. Simple question: what is the output voltage of the adapter? I think I will have to buy a 220 volt one over here (typical American companies don't supply 100-220 adapters). But I would like to possibly get one of those Sanyo pedal juice lith-ion power packs to use. All my other battery amps use AA batteries, but I understand the mini uses C cells. Rather than buy another charger and gang of batteries, thought maybe pedal juice would be the way to go.
But if the adapter is 12 volts, then that throws a wrench in that plan.
Thanks

The AC adapter of the Mini has an output of 12V and 0.8A

I am not sure if the little amp will work with rechargeabels, I never tried it. Usual batteries have a voltage of 1.5 there are six inside, this means a voltage of 9V. Rechargeabels in a good condition have about 1.3 (so together 7.8V).

Anybody here who tried to power the amp with rechargeabel batteries?

Hey Guys,

The Mini does indeed run off of 9V when on battery power. The Sanyo unit hasn't been tested but it should work as long as the polarities match. It's important to note that the polarity the Mini needs is opposite from most pedals, which are what the Pedal juice was designed to power.

Also, the adapter that ships with Mini works at any line voltage between 100v-240v. No need to buy another one. You'll just need to purchase a C5 power cable that has the proper regional connection.

I am amazed that it comes with the 100-240 adapter. That is so rare (other than for cell phones)in USA, at least in my experience.
I play mini-concerts at the beach with friend for charity, hence the need to run off batteries. Are you saying the pedal juice could be plugged into the regular adapter socket even tho it is 9 rather than 12 volts? One less hassle than having to go in and connect something in the battery line.... Wouldn't be that difficult to get polarity right (don't have one of those yet either. I come to USA once a year to load up on goodies, so am not familiar with the ease of that).
Thanks
