Just out of curiosity, those Mustang amp owners who originally had NO fizz at all but now DO have the fizz problem - how long did it take for the fizz to start? I got another MIII last week and it was fine for a couple of days and then started having the problem. Please keep your answer short and only answer if you had a good one when you got it, and it turned bad. Thanks!

About 40 days. Good when received, went bad, Fender wouldn't warranty, appealed to vendor and got a rma less shipping both ways, so out a bunch.

 Mine just started after lets see.....3 years. That's not a typo. 3 years.
It was born 11/2010, per sticker inside amp. I bought it used in 2012. The day before yesterday ( 5/1/2015) it was fine, then yesterday it started. So I am not thrilled. Don't think I'll get any warranty service because seller had no bill of sale as the amp was a birthday gift long ago. Loved the amp but now my cleans sound awful.

Trade it in or sell it and get a Version 2, you get a fizz free amp and more features with the V2 model.
