Hello everybody,

I have a Mustang III amp, and I really love it, but there's just one problem. After installing all the drivers, fender asio, fender fuse and etc to my Windows 7. I tried recording with audacity. And I have a really horrible volume drop. I set my usb gain to max in fender fuse, but I still only get like -40 decibels in audacity. It's as if there was a noise gate. But I checked there is none. Has anyone ever had this problem? please help. Thank you I appreciate it.

Have you tried turning up the Preset Volume to see if that helps?

I would definitely check the volume on the preset. Are you sure you're not actually overloading and forcing extreme compression? Max USB gain can be pretty dangerous.
