Is the Fender Mustang II's ASIO4all driver compatible with most music sequencing software. I make my music thru Cakewalk Music Creator 4 and Sonar XL. Let me know. Thanks.

FWIW, my MIII works just fine with Cakewalk's Sonar LE (which I got with an ME-25).

PITA

I think I recall it being stated elsewhere on this forum that the Fender ASIO driver is just the standard ASIO4ALL driver with the word Fender in front to 'badge' it.

That being the case, it should work with just about any DAW that supports ASIO, given that this is why the ASIO4ALL driver was created - hence the name !

I also have SONAR LE, which I got with my ME-20, and have used it to record with my Mustang I. I also use Ableton Live LE, which came with the Mustang, and I use Reaper as well, all record with the Mustang via USB.

ASIO is compatible with most pro-sumer level apps. Any Cakewalk app or Cubase app should work just fine. I'm not sure about the consumer apps such as the Magix stuff or similar.

While some of the Magix stuff does have a consumer target audience, they also have Samplitude, which in its full version is just as 'pro' as products from Cakewalk and Cubase.
