Recently I purchased a Fender Mustang 1 amp, and I’ve to say I am pretty happy with it overall. However, I noticed some discrepancies between tuning with the amp tuner or with my blue Snark.
What is the reason of such a discrepancy? Any sugestions?

The Mustang amplifier series' built-in tuner is hard-coded at A440. A lot of dedicated tuners out there allow you to adjust the A-frequency for different purposes. Also, on the Mustang 1 and 2, all you have to go by is the Red-Green-Red LED system and I've pretty much proved to me that using THAT is not quite as precise as using, say, my BOSS TU-3 Chromatic Tuner. Even my Mustang 5 is more accurate tuning by using the LCD display over the LED lights on the footswitch. The LEDs get you VERY close, but not precise.

I would check into your blue snark and see if maybe the frequency has been shifted a bit. Someone else came on the forum about two months back with the same issue. It turns out, the OTHER tuner he was using was set too high, around A447 and it was throwing everything off. He thought it was a problem with the Mustang too. Once he put his tuner at A440, everything synced up and all was right with the world.
