I have a Mustang III, and have been tweaking my presets in Fuse (latest version). I've built a nice Knopfler-esque preset using the '57 Deluxe and some effects, and wanted to make the next preset in line a slightly boosted version of that preset...so I copied the preset into the next slot, increased the Deluxe's gain and midrange slightly, and boosted the compression level a bit as well. I saved the new preset, and then when I went back to the original preset, the gain and midrange had changed to the new settings from the new, boosted preset! Shouldn't those parameters stay saved for each individual preset?

Also weird is the fact that the changing the noise gate settings in the new preset will change them in the original preset as well, but if I change cabinets or tweak the dials on the stompboxes, those will save only to the selected preset, and not affect the other.

And, I found that I don't even have to save the preset for the new settings to stick. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a solution? Or am I doing something wrong? I've never noticed it before, but it's really frustrating when I'm trying to save/create distinct presets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK - literally minutes after I posted the above, I realized that the sound (and presumably the actual settings) remain as saved for each preset, but what is displayed in Fuse as far as the amp knobs corresponds to whatever preset was selected first...even after switching to a different preset that uses the same amp; so it's not as bad a situation as I thought, but it does make it a bit difficult to tweak a preset, if one is using the same amp for two or more different presets.

I still think it's weird, and suspect I may be doing something wrong...but I've had the amp almost a year now, and I can't believe I never noticed this until a couple days ago.

Hey nadzab,

The settings should definitely be saved on a per preset basis. I'm going to try and reproduce the behavior you're seeing. Give me a day or so, things are pretty hectic around here.

Bumping this - still having the issue where saved changes aren't reflected in fuse (some are, some aren't). Loren, I'm sure you're busy, but did you ever have a chance to try to replicate this?

We've actually been conducting some testing and have been able to reproduce what you're seeing. We're rolling a fix into an upcoming release of FUSE.
