Well,
I owned the V-head for around 2 2/12 months old. went to turn on and nothing, dosnt turn on, tryed other things in the outlets, all worked fine. I didnt buy the extended warranty from guitar center, I brough it in today, and they told me I sould have bought the insurance. My question is their other heads I can use with my Mustang V 412 4x12 Guitar Speaker Cab? as their are some ok priced ones on craiglist.
Thanks

The amp has a 5 year warranty from fender. GC probably isn't a local authorized station, but they should refer you to a shop that is. GCs warranty doesn't go through Fender, it goes through a third party usually. Find an authorized Fender amp repair center and take it in.

To answer your other one, the V412 cabinet holds 4x Celestion Rocket 50 speakers. While these are decently nice for running the Mustang V head through, any other serious amp will probably sound a little dull through those speakers. (The Mustang V was designed with frequency filters to alter the waveform going to the speakers first... other amps won't do this.) So your speaker cabinet should accept 200W max at 8-ohms per side. If you were to split a single input between the two, it would be a 4-ohm input in parallel or 16-ohm in series. At 200 watts, you could run up to any 100-watt tube amplifier on there just fine.

visit this page http://www.fender.com/dealers/service_centers.php

and select the For Electronic Service Centers in the U.S. option to find an authorized repair center in your area.

Next, visit http://www.gci-csat.com/html/contactus.html and lay it on them. There is no reason for a local GC store not to refer you to an authorized service center for a product they sell. Corporate should hear the complaint.
