My Danelectro Spring King doesn't like my MV's effects loop(or is it the other way round?).
Shame about that 'cause I have to put it up front which isn't where you're suppposed to put a reverb tank(small at that). That placement obviously effects tone(bottom end loss).Has anyone else got this problem?Solutions(apart from turning up the bass)?
Cheers all

How does it "not like" the MV effects loop? Does it not work at all or is the tone just bad?

O.

There's a significant volume drop notwithstanding the use of mains power for the tank. There's no output level adjustment on tank. When put in the fx loop the tank acts like a non adjustable attenuator, blocking the output to a useless level. Is anyone having this problem with other stomp boxes in the fx loop?

Have you tried using the reverb on another amp that has an effects loop?

I tried it on an amp with a fx return level control and had to turn it all the way up.It's no major concern,I know old school reverb tanks always went up front anyway but I would have preferred the fx loop, otherwise I need to get some kind of gain control/booster.
cheers all
