This happened to me once. I unplugged the foot switch and plugged it back in and haven't had a problem since. Since this is now a duplicable issue on another amp but the same switch, you can add the 4 button footswitch glitch to the list of Mustang amp issues.

I'll be seeking a refund or exchange for my Mustang V, enough is enough.

Hey Guys,

RCB - I wouldn't quite call this a widespread issue just yet.
You mentioned this happening to you once?

Wilrey - How often does this occur? It's possible that there could be an issue with the footswitch. Does unplugging and reconnecting help?

Yes, I have to unplug it and plug it back in all the time for it to work prperly and Yes it happens often. it even happens when I use the tuner function on the footswitch or on the amp.

Hey Loren! Thanks for chiming in!

Yes, the 4 button switch froze on me once thus far. I was playing in stomp box mode, pressed on one of the stomp buttons and got no response. So, I stopped playing and discovered the 4 button pedal was non-responsive. I unplugged the pedals (I have the 2 button and 4 button) and it became responsive again. I may have rebooted the amp too, but it happened quickly and I don't recall exactly.

I'm trying to get prepared to do an open-mic tour hoping to lug a Fender V head along (it's got all the "features" I need for just about any venue), but now...I can't do that because the V head has issues and I've got to figure out what to do.

I'd be happy to help out resolving these issues. If we can get the V head running reliably, I'd be happy to take it along with me!

What can I do to help???
