Ordered my Mustang 1 from Sweetwater yesterday. It was picked up at 2:12 P.M. and arrived today at 1:51 p.m., with the time difference that was less than 24 hours. This was their free standard shipping, same thing happened when i ordered my Strat.

So far, so good. Registered and downloaded some presets. Sounds sweet.

Thanks! Mine came just in time for my long weekend off. I can see this will take some time to figure it all out. In the meantime, just the regular presets are great.

It's WAY easier than you think it will be. Go to the website and load the MOST current FUSE software and version of the Mustang's firmware. The whole process takes a half hour, maybe. When you launch FUSE with the Mustang plugged into the USB a WHOLE new world will open up for you...the stock presets are good but, they only scratch the surface really.

You're right on all counts. Downloading was easy, I've been at it on and off since Thursday night. It is one sweet little piece of gear. Using the Fuse program is a lot of fun.

I was always a purist. Plug and play, no gadgets or gizmos. I realize that technology has taken over and, being able to have the ability to re-create your sound is the best way to go. Does take the challenge out of a live gig but, makes it less stressful.

Appreciate your comments Loren. It's encouraging when a manufacturer's rep will make himself available. Customer service is a thing of the past. In another post I mentioned talking to Fender IT, they were very helpful.

All of my experiences with my new Mustang have been good.

I am having a blast with mine , but I do have a quick question...Are the downloads easy and quick? I have been playing with it stock and was just wondering about putting in different presets.

They're pretty easy, just a word of advice, you'll be spending a lot of time dscovering all that's available. The more I use mine, the better I like it.
