I have the Mustang II, and i was wondering if it is possible to download Fuse band tracks as MP3's? There are some drum tracks on there that i would like to give to my drummer to practice with.

You can duplicate the WAV files (the default format of the Fender bandtracks) to MP3 files easily, there are a lot of ways to do this and most are free tools. Just google "wav to mp3".

However, the Fender bandtracks are "looping" audio files (think ACID loops) that loop seamlessly on Fender G-DEC 3 amps or in the FUSE bandtrack player. This means many are very short - sometimes only 30 seconds or so long. On the amps or in the FUSE player, they sound like they are infinitely long but they're not.

Unfortunately, you can't do this with a MP3 as the format has no bit to set for the loop point so when the file is played back as a loop, there is a skip in timing which makes it useless as a bandtrack.

MP3 backing tracks can be used in the FUSE player but they are usually several minutes long and therefore do not need to loop.

Ok that makes sense. Thanks for the reply.
