If I understand this correctly, to update the firmware you restart the amp while holding down the wheel. Then you select the bundled update when the option appears? I did this and it says it starting to update but it doesn't look there has been much progress, it's been going for 20 minutes. How long does it usually take?

For me typically less than 30s or so. Usually when it has gone longer than that, something is wrong and it's time to abort/retry.

PITA

Mine must have froze up. Just so i understand, you don't download anything, you can just click on the bundled update, correct?

Tried it again, and it worked great. The firmware made a big difference.
