Just trying to get more of a richer tube sound. I found it with a boss pedal, so im good. I just need a Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor Pedal , I messed with the noise gate through fuse but no luck

I've got a Zoom G9.2tt (2 x 12ax7 pre-amp) that has HUGE, rich distortion, even with single coils using the Dirty Gate on it via the V head, done.

I was just practicing songs off of Toxicity with my Hwy 1>Morley AB-Y>

A>Zoom>PVDrive>EQ>Dirty Gate>Compressor>Room verb>Middle cab>Condenser>Headphones out>V Head Aux in Master Volume @ 8>TASCAM>Reaper>Sony Wireless Headphones

B>V Head>57' Deluxe>>High noise gate>Compressor>Sine Chorus>4x12G

Purrfect, HEAVY distortion with lots of wood n' metal and glass coming from the zoom, and a clean clean clean, chimey chimey channel from the v head.

...I was able to dial in some fizz on the v head using the V Metal 2000 amp model when I let the bass strings resonate, but I was able to dial the fizz out too, but the 2000 amp model did not sound anything close to as rich and deep as the zoom does via this cabling method.

I could have used the Behringer NR300 (noise reduction) but wasn't offended by any noise today using the v head for cleans and the zoom through the head for the distortions with the dirty gate, and the High gate on the v head cleans for better muting and rests due to a hint of single coil noise.

I haven't played the zoom through a cab, yet. 8)
