Hi all. I have a Mustang I and have had some nice results using it to record directly into my DAW, however I'm soon to be adding vocals into the mix and I'm going to get a tube preamp audio interface for that and I was wondering if anyone here has run their Mustang through one of those, and if so how did they do it and did it give any kind of sound enhancement at all? Any and all replies are welcome, I'm pretty green when it comes to recording, so forgive me if this is a dumb question. It was just an  I had. :D

Hey Rod,

Lots of people run their headphone output into an input on the interface. Personally, I'm a fan of micing amps.

Thanks for responding, I'll definitely give both a try and see what sounds better. I also have a Bronco 40 bass amp and it has the XLR out, any idea why the Mustang didn't get one as well?

The Bronco is intended to be an amp that could possibly be used to perform with. The Mustang I was never intended to be more than a bedroom practice amp.

That makes sense as their are other Mustangs for playing live. Still it would be a nice feature if not cost prohibitive. All in all though it's a great amp for the money as is and is perfect for bedroom playing. I'm quite impressed with the Bronco as well.
