Is my foot switch defective? It only wants to work as a momentary switch. It will switch to patches I program it to but when you let off the switch it reverts back to the first programed patch. I followed what the manual said and still no luck. When I first got the amp with the Fswitch it worked fine. I updated to the latest firmware on both the amp and fuse. Any help appreciated. RockinT

I would say that since it worked fine before you installed the new update, the pedal is fine. I would try re-installing the new firmware.

You could also try a factory reset. Then your amp would go back to the firmware it had when you bought the amp. If you do this and you have not done a backup of any presets you have changed, you will loose those.

From page 7 of the advanced manual:

To restore the Mustang amplifier to factory settings:

1. Turn the amplifier OFF.
2. Press and hold the EXIT button while turning the amplifier ON. Continue holding the EXIT button until it is no longer illuminated.

If you haven't downloaded the advanced manual, I highly recommend you do so.

I found the problem. I have 2 foot switches that look alike. I must have mistaken the momentary switch for the on/off switch I have. Switched them out, everything is fine now. Thanks for you reply. RockinT
