Hey guys!
I recently bought a new Fender Mustang I amp, and now I'm trying to record my jamming and stuff. I'm kinda new in recording and all that stuff, so details will be appreciated.

So I've installed Ableton Live 8, downloaded ASIO, configured all those stuff in preferences, pressed the red circle near the green bars there at the bottom of the ''sound'' (under ''1'' and ''S'')
Now, when I'm plucking the strings on my guitar, I can see the green bar goes up, but I can't hear anything (i should hear something, right?)...
In the ASIO settings, I left only the Mustang Amplifier on ''On'' state. The other thing I have there is SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio, and it's turned off. there's a blue arrow facing the right near the ''On'' sign, so it should work, right?
I tried recording, i can see that the program can record sounds, but still I can't hear anything from the speakers.

What should I do? Am I missing something in the preferences?
THX for any help!!

Hey Alex,

That SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio is actually your built in sound card. You must enable that to hear anything. Once that's enabled, click the + sign drop down for more options. Be sure to disable anything that says out or output other than your main stereo output. Also, be sure to disable anything that says in or input other than the Mustang.

THX a lot!! Work's great!

When i think about it, it's kinda stupid to turn off the output if the amp can only give input..

When i am operating with the Asio on, even with my soundmax stereo output enabled, i get no sound. I also tried going from my headphones on the amp to my mic on my computer, but that just gets really distorted and fuzzy, with terrible sound quality. Any ideas?
