hello every1
i recently bought a Mustang 2..
i have a squier strat(2 single coil pick ups and one humbucking) and a Digitech RP90 effects processor..
I also have an acoustic a T-Bucket 300 CE
i wanted to know how to obtain a clean(bypass) on the Mustang 2 sound so that i can use my effects processor and my acoustic easily..

The only way to do that is to search the FUSE community and get the "EMPTY" preset that's there, then upload that to one of your Mustang's preset slots. There's not SUPPOSED to be an empty (no modelling) slot, but through a glitch we've obtained one.

I tried that "EMPTY" preset out this weekend with my acoustic. I found that it had much lower volume than my other presets even with the volume knob cranked. I added a compressor on a mild setting to the preset and set it to be at unity with my other presets.

Just added a little reverb and I'm pleased with how it reproduce the sound of my acoustics piezo.

Yeah, the EMPTY preset is definitely quieter, but that's because you've just shut off the amp's entire pre-amp and EQ section.
