ok definitely not normal lol

I see you pointed to where it says 'service pack 1' in your video, so that is good. What about any pending security updates? Have you run Windows Update recently?

Oh and what do you have your video resolution set to? Has to be 1024x768 minimum.

I've now also tested this on Win 7 32 bit. I get (almost) exactly the same results (including the wrong/weird results) as I did with Vista 64 bit. So perhaps it isn't a 32/64 bit issue?

The only difference is that with the 32-bit O/S, when I search for "rectifier" I get the same three presets showing (there should be a lot more, if the description is included in the search, or none if the search is name-only) but without the (empty) multiple pages, ie links to "Page: 1 2 3 4 5" that when clicked give blank pages.

Further, I just tried the same searches directly on the fuse website (https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets.php/). The behaviour there is different to searching from within the FUSE app: searching directly on the website only appears to search the preset name/title, but does so accurately/correctly. Whereas searching within FUSE appears to be (trying to) cleverly use other fields too - at least that's what it seems like from the search results I get.

However it appears that "clever" search is going wrong and messing up the results (omitting some that should be included and including some that shouldn't be there!). Whether that's a problem within FUSE, or a problem with the server-side interface/search that it's using, we'll have to wait for Fender to investigate!

Well that's just my 2p/¢...

well we've got you with Vista 64 and Windows 7 32, The rest have Windows 7 64. But I too doubt it's a Win7/64 problem, you probably would have seen more people with the issue before now. :?

Hi Guys,

Thanks gozdek, for posting that video, that was very helpful. We are currently looking into this with our software development team. It is possible that this might be a localization issue caused by a different language setting. However, we will need to look into this further and in the meantime we recommend that those users who are seeing this behavior, log in to the Fender FUSE Community through a browser and then download the Presets and Band tracks from there. Make sure that the Presets and Band tracks are placed in to the correct folders so that Fender FUSE can identify them when running. The correct folder for PC would be My Documents/Fender/FUSE/Presets or My Documents/Fender/FUSE/Audio for Band Tracks. On Mac the correct location would be Documents/Fender/Presets or Documents/Fender/Audio for Band Tracks. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Hi scott-uk,

Thanks for taking the time to check this out. We are checking this out internally as well. We will do additional testing here in both the software and browsers, and post any updated information and/or tips that we have for end users ASAP.

Cheers,

Alan

I think I know how your software developers can reproduce the problem.

Please go to Control Panel - Region and Language - Format and change format to "Polish (Poland)". Then open Fuse and try to search for presets on web e.g. "Blues".

I had the same problem in some other silverlight application and it was linked to regional settings. It seems you have the same.

Now I can use fuse, but I have to change Regional Settings before launching the app.

I hope this is helpful.
