I have a Mustang I. Everything is downloaded and registered. I have set the preferences in Live Lite and can see an amp in the Amplitude. If I change a setting, how do I get that to reflect thru the amp. Help, I'm lost! :( :?:

You don't. There's some kind of misconception that the software that came with the amp in any way interfaces with it. The ONLY piece of software that came with the amp that actually sends commands back to the amp is Fender FUSE. FUSE is the program that lets you change all the stuff INSIDE the amp.

AmpliTube is a different piece of software developed by IK Multimedia to simulate an entire studio setup. All you need is a guitar and an input. In this case, the USB input from the Mustang acts as your input. Amplitube acts as its own amplifier and cab, with mics and effects and everything.

This would be awesome, except that the sound comming out of your Mustang amp is ALREADY modelling another amp, so AmpliTube becomes kinda redundant. What I do now is I use AmpliTube 3.7 FREE (yes, it is free, but that's actually part of the name for the free download) and the Custom Shop with my Rocksmith USB cable that came with my PS3 game.

By the way, Rocksmith is now out for the PC. ^.^

Now I don't have the Mustang amp, nor the fizzing/popping that comes every few minutes from the Mustang through the USB port and I can make full use of the AmpliTube software. The amps I've bought from the Custom Shop are Orange amps. They're fully liscensed by Orange Amplification and they just sound KILLER! For the rest of today, they're only $10 an amp (1/2 off sale through today).

I just now figured that out. I was using the wrong app or program. I think I got it going now but thanks for the info.

Really? I thought I had seen it on a GameStop shelf. I just checked and you're right. I'm glad I have a PS3. Cable works for PC too.
