Nevermind. I got it! I live in the sticks and currently have dial-up. I went to my bud's who has DSL and dumped it there and transferred it via a memory stick. I got everything downloaded and registered now all I got to do is figure out how to use it. This stuff is way over my head; Old dogs new tricks.

Just go slow and learn the FUSE thing one item at a time. Play with EQs first, then try the gain/volume controls. Then a few effects.

The Advanced tab lets you do stuff like BIAS settings, Noise Gates, and Speaker Cabinet models, but that's for later on once you've become comfortable with the program and tweaking the other settings of the amp. VERY customizable. It's flexibility is what makes this little amp so awesome.

All of the SS haters over at the Marshall forum clearly have never played on the Fender Mustang before.

SS = Solid-State, as in using transistors and diodes instead of vacuum tubes (called valves in the UK).

A lot of people hate on SS amps because they sound a bit artificial in the way they react to a guitar player's playing technique. In SS amps, changes (such as voltage changes and sudden hard playing) happen almost immediately. In valve amps, voltage changes happen gradually by comparisson, still very fast. As a result, you get a smoother tone out of them, especially overdrive. And it reacts dynamically to your picking technique.

A GOOD SS modelling amp (like the Mustang) will attempt to do all of this as well. AmpliTube is VERY good about modelling all of this. However, earlier attempts to make SS amps sounded very artificial, so popular notion now-a-days is that SS amps suck and that you have to get an all-valve amp. But I can guarantee that NOONE ELSE at the Marshall forum (other than myself) has actually played on a Mustang amp, so they don't know what they're talking about, really.
