Hi Fellow Musicians, I am new to the forum and was wondering if someone could answer a few Questions for me.Although I am an experienced guitar player. Not the best computer Guy.The first Question is about Fuse.I bought My Mustang 4 about 6 months ago.But have not used the fuse software yet.My Question is should I load the software from the DVD then update?Or since there is an update.Would I just download the bundled update? Also Questions about the firmware also apply.I know this sounds dumb. But not the best computer person. Thanks in advance.Any help is greatly appreciated.Rock on!

Fuse updates are basically the full version, so you might just as well download the latest version from online and install that.

It will also contain the latest version of the firmware for the amps, which you can apply from within Fuse once you have it up and running and connected to the amp.

Yup, exactly that. If I recall correctly, when you plug the USB cable into the amp, FUSE will ask you if you want to upgrade the firmware. Just follow the instructions and all should go well.

Good luck!

Ben

Yes, that's just Windows or your web browser warning you from the EVILS of the internet. You can ignore it, I doubt Fender will hand out viruses.
