do you guys know of any good blues overdrive tones on the mustang III? or do you know of any settings that could match that kinda sound? i'm talking about a clean sound with a bit of crunch when playing more intensely.

If you can't find the tone you're looking for it's pretty easy to get in there and tweak an existing preset until it's just right for what you need.

I've had good results nailing down some good vintage Fender tones, but hadn't thought much about switching the cab settings.
I've been working on getting as close as possible to the '57 RI Tweed Twin sound. One example is this: Marshall amp(gain 3.5/volume 10/treb 2.5/mid 4/bass 10/presence 10/sag 0/bias +15%) Bassman Cab & sine chorus.

I've downloaded a couple of '57 tweed twin presets that sound great. 57 deluxe/65 twin cab/OD stompbox/Sag zero'd/bias +15%/gain just past 5

59 bassman/cab model off/gain 7/sag zero'd/bias +20%

That's a couple of examples I'm using. I've had this MII since last January and I'm now learning to step out of the box and try less conventional settings to get the sound I like, which for me is mostly Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Check out this tone in Amsterdam on Nov 10th....

The Bassman with gain at about 4. Then have the OD Stompbox set up for just a slight overdrive and use it for a little extra crunch. Same thing with the 65 Deluxe. I can play blues all night with just two presets set up like that.
