First, I'd back up all of your on-amp presets. FUSE has a utility for this.

Then, with FUSE you can save over any preset you want to, all 24 in the Mini, M1, and M2, or all 100 with the M3, M4, and M5.

When in the 'computer' section of your Fuse library, right click on the preset you want to transfer to the amp and 'Save to Amp' will appear. Just choose which slot you want to save it in on the amp and you're done.

(Please Fender - put this right-click-and-save process up here as a 'sticky'. This is about the 10th time I've answered this question here !)

You can use the same process to restore any of your original amp presets to their slots, or do a reset of the whole amp to put all the slots back the way they came from the factory, or from a back-up set that you have saved on computer.

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows if there is anywhere to download the Mustang 3 presets like you download the user custom presets. I saved some user presets over top of the factory presets and I think I want some factory presets back but i dont want to loose the customization i have already done.

Most (all ?) of the factory presets are available individually in the Fuse online library - search on Fender.

Or, if you search this forum you should find a link to a zip file that contains all 100 of the III/IV/V presets in a single zipped download.

Or, after you've done a backup of the amp through Fuse to preserve any presets you've changed and want to keep, you could do a factory reset of the amp that will restore all 100 preset slots to their original out-of-the-box tones and settings.

Thanks for the compliment, Loren.

Now, how about a 'sticky' post that clearly explains the right click save to amp process, so I don't have to keep posting the same answer !!
