Hi there Mustang fans!

I am a begginer guitar player and finnaly managed to earn some cash to buy my new, sweet Mustang I amplifier. Now I'm trying to figure it out how the things works. I'm not very familiar with all these effects and other stuff. Don't know if such kind of tutorial exist....But let's get to the point... I'm searching all the presets base and can't find any that will be similar to Papa Roach sound... Can anyone help me to figure it out how I should set up my amp and effects to get these kind of sound?

BR,
Grzegorz

Hi there,
I don't know much songs from pappa roach, the only one that comes to my mind is last resort.

There are tons of presets in the mustang, but i'll sugest you can start with the metal 2000 amp setting.
Play around with the gain, bass, treble, and mid and add a little bit of sine-chorus.

If you can be more specific about the songs, than maybe I can figure it out.
I've got the mustang III but it shouldn't be a problem if you use the fuse software.

First of all start using the FUSE software. There are literally HUNDREDS of presets that others have uploaded that are available for your amp. Tweak any of them to your liking and save them to your amp. After a while you will start to notice combinations of amps and pedals in the presets that will work for you better than others, and you can make your own from scratch. It takes some tinkering but, it is fairly easy to do (maybe not something you learn overnight but, did you learn how to play guitar overnight?) and the results are satisfying.

Thats right! I'm using FUSE software all the time. It's awesome. But, as I said before, I've got a little overwhelmed by the huge bunch of possibilities. But mixing the stuff, setting my own line and amp is even more fun that the guitar playing in general :)

Cool...then maybe get into the metal 2000 amp like was mentioned before. Try a little sine chorus and I found that since I use single coils, putting an OverDrive in front of it and dialing in just a bit more drive, and playing around with both the ODs Eq and the Amps Eq can get a really crisp, heavy sound. Playing around with the pitch shifter in the mix may give you some moments where it sounds like multitracked/dual lead guitars too. Have fun and good luck!
