As a longtime Fender amp and guitar player I bought the Mustang III about a month ago.

I have owned the classic Fender amps that it seeks to emulate and I was amazed when I started tweaking the amp to make it sound like a real tube amp.

As one who has never ranted about a product I want to calmly and humbly ask you to please make it right about the fizz issue.

I love my amp---but as a Jazz player--the fizz just ruins it for me---When I play blues/rock/metal its not as big a deal as the fine feedback gets lost in the volume and gain.

You were so close with this product to a perfect 10- ground breaking, revolutionary piece of gear that it's scary--close but not quite---how could release this with such a glaring weakness?

Certainly with serial numbers registered there is a way to make this right--As I speak someone is working on this problem for the next generation of amps.

Fender won't you win back all of us who bought this amp but are disappointed in the fizz by giving us the new amp when it comes out or at least giving us the amp at a fraction of retail---

I would be very satisfied if you could come out with a new firmware as a solution. But Fender do something---You have the best and most loyal customers in history--Do not disappoint us--especially those of us who play music as part of our job to earn a living.

Its seems you are at a very important crossroads related to customer loyalty. If you knew how much money I have spent on Fender gear in the past you would call me personally and make it right--promising a new amp when this glitch gets fixed--I don't expect that---but do something please.

Unfortunately, Fender is following the whole "Peavey Vypyr" business model (look up the vypyr's crap-fest of reliability issues): Release something that sounds amazing, but build it so quickly (use customers as beta testers), that reliability and flaws are ALWAYS an issue.

I agree with you. This amp would be a perfect if they would just take the time to figure out why the fizz is happening. I mean, I would fix it myself if someone just told me what component to replace or if it's a grounding issue etc.

Companies will always fail in the long-term on this issue. Sure, short-term they will make some profit, but the soiled reputation and word-of-mouth will always hurt a company in the long-term. They could have made a phenomenal product if they just made quality a priority.

If they came out with a next generation Mustang III, I would be willing to turn in the old one and pay the difference for the upgrade if they'd give me credit for the original $299 under the warranty.
