I have reviewed and watched and read all info on this amp including the foot pedal and nothing specifically shows you how to use it. Just general info. I have used Fender Deluxe and Fender Chorus amps which I have never had a problem with but this one is totally blowing me away and I think Fender should give more detailed info or hold classes in their office in Scottsdale. I 'm not far away.

Hey azguitargal,

Have you read the Mustang Advanced Manual? Also, take a look at our support knowledgebase at http://www.fender.com/support. Pretty much anything you want to know about the amp and footswitch can be found there. If you still can't find what you're looking for, there is a community full of users and even Fender personnel ready to help you out.

Hi Loren, Thank you for responding! I have reviewed the manual disk that came with the amp and printed that out but where can i get the advanced manual? The manual I have is too general. I need detailed (very detailed step by step) information.

Thanks! :?

It wasn't clear what exactly you are having trouble with. Maybe if you post some specific question(s) about what you're trying to do and/or what's not going as expected, the conversation might gain some momentum.

Scroll down to the Mustang I-V Advanced Manual, toward the bottom. I don't know if this is gonna give you any more info that the manual that came on the disc. I don't remember which manual was on the disc. I'm not sure what your exact question is, like Pita said. We could help more if you could be a little more specific.

The advanced manual does go over what each mode does on the 4 button pedal. I use the 2 button pedal with the 4 button and get great results. I set the 2 button up to the Up/Down mode and set my 4 button switch up so that I have the presets I want in the QA banks of 10. For example, QA1 from 00-09, QA2 10-19, and QA3 20-29. Then I just maneuver up and down in each bank. For tuner mode just hold the 1st button down until the lights go out and then tune. To get out of tuner mode tap the 1st button again. You need to use the utilities menu to set up your foot switch. It goes into that in the advanced manual a little bit, just experiment with it. That is what I did.
