When running in my DAW (I've tried various ones, including my favorite, REAPER), using the Fender Universal ASIO driver (I also tried ASIO4ALL, the result is the same) it will start glitching at low sample size (64) or moderate sample size (256), both around about 7 minutes, 30 seconds of constant playing. It seems the buffer size has no effect on what's causing this. Is there any way to resolve this, or is it something I am just stuck with and will have to stop and start the audio driver intermittently between takes in order to have stability?

Also want to add that I use Windows 7 Pro 64, and I have used both 64 bit and 32 bit versions of Reaper (currently using the 32 bit since the Fender ASIO Drivers are 32 bit).

+1 on this issue.

I played a bit with the Amplitube software that came with my Mustang II (and now my Mustang V, yay!) and after about 6-8 minutes of playing, I get what I would describe as a hickup. Takes a few seconds, then goes back to sounding fine.

Yeah, I proved that it must be a Mustang series firmware issue with the USB out, because I tested my MXL 990 USB Condenser mic in ASIO, with my EZdrummer going full bore with the same settings as I described earlier, and I was able to go for over 10 minutes before I had to leave to pick up a friend, so I'd imagine it would've kept going smoothly endlessly. And if any Fender firmware programmers are wondering my hardware and system drivers, I can provide a dxdiag file.

I plan on using the headphone jack as a line-in into my soundcard and see if the same problem occurs.

Since my Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium HD card came with a 1/8 to RCA cable, I was able to test using ASIO with my card's Aux In, from my Mustang IV's headphone jack, and I have to say I am impressed, both with the sound quality and the stability. I was hammering away at my guitar with EZ Drummer plodding away for about a half hour before I realized that this thing just isn't going to glitch out (still using the previous settings of 64 samples). Now I am going to test this with ASIO4All Driver, since it gets a slightly better latency than Fender's, although the currently latency I'm getting (5.8/6.1) is certainly acceptable on Fender Universal ASIO, I love the 1.8/2.1 I've been able to get from ASIO4All. I will report my findings later today.
