Hey, this may be a double post but I am having a little trouble.Ok, how do I get my computer to recognize my amp as a speaker. This is important, so I can listen to music and record to a daw.I can do this with my gdec 3 but that is not at my home at the moment. What am I missing?I thought all would be well as soon as I plugged my usb. Thanks in advance!!!

AFAIK, the Mustang line is input only (to DAW), there is no USB output (to amp) capability. You will have to use the amp's aux in to play sounds from your computer.

That's what I do; 3.5mm from computer headphone out to Mustang aux in.

PITA is correct. The Mustangs are input-only devices.

Ok, I have the cable and I now have audio streaming from my laptop to my amp as well as my guitar by connecting the headphone out to the aux.Now again, there is still the issue of recording. The usb so far seems to only recognize the fuse software.Even on the manual it states this records to a daw via usb.The only luck thus far has been me plugging the 3.5 cord from the phones out to the laptop microphone which works pretty well except for the lack of audio playback while I am playing.I feel like I am so close but so far.Anyone have a remedy. Thanks!

I would also like to know, if Mustang Mini can be recorded thru headphone jack? Specks do not mention line out, USB or speaker emulated line out headphone jack.

Anybody could tell? I Really would need the portability of Mustang Mini, but also need to do some recordings thru line out.

Thanks.

Yes it does record only thru headphone out which is why I returned mine.Im hoping the next time they get these amps right.Still if recording is not important than it still is a great portable amp

Just to confirm: This headphone jack is not "speaker emulated"?

Yes it is quite simple, laptop to amp uses aux cable and amp to computer uses headphone out but when doing so you will exp no speaker sound unless you hook up speakers to the aux input on the amp.Hope that helps.
