just got my mustang mini looks pretty good. I like how the handle lets you tilt the amp up. sounds pretty good too. havent cranked it up yet but at level 3 it sounds pretty loud. it works just like a mustang 1. I had to look all over my house for 6 c cell batteries mostly have aa and d sizes but it also comes with a nice ac power adapter. hope this helps I pre ordered mine from guitar center.

Hey bertosknives,

Congrats on your purchase. I'm sure you'll really enjoy the amp.

Hello, is there any way you could post videos on this?Or tell the quality of the speakers whether or not it sounds like every other amp at this size? I just bought one also, but it seems to be a special order to guitar centers only for me and I have not found any satisfying information on this amp.Trust me fender, there are people out there that this amp appeals to. I own the gdec3 but is not as portable as this seems to be.I can't wait.

I also have a vox mini 3 and the mustang blows it away in sound quality and volume. the only thing is it sounds like the vox has a noise gate the mustang might too but havent messed with it enough.

I wanted to get one on my last visit to USA. However release date was moved back beyond my departure date, so couldn't get one. I have a Mustang I which I love (so much was willing to pay $160 for it over here...).
I play charity "mini-concerts" (as my partner calls them) at the beach (no power). I really drool for one of these. Currently use a Roland microcube RX and Cube street. Nice, but not a Mustang.
My question is about converting it to run off of AA batteries instead of C cells. I did that with my Vox DA-5, with mixed results. C cells are hard to get here, and I do like to use rechargables..... The mini has 7 watts, so probably needs alot of current. Would this be a bust? Would I need to get something like the Sanyo pedal juice to give it enough power?
I will get one of these by hook or by crook....
Anybody coming to Thailand?

I got this tonight and all I can say is that it is great.A terffic value and now I am able to take my guitar anywhere.I do have one problem though.I have a gdec 3 and had no problem with this but I do with this amp.It appears after installing the drivers of this amp my computer does not recognize the amp as a sound driver.Meaning I cannot listen to music+guitar through my amp as I can with the gdec. That is important to me rather than hear music on my laptop and guitar through my speaker. Please tell me what I am missing here??Thanks!

The Mustang amps are input only devices. You'll need a 3.5mm cable from your soundcard to the aux input on the amp to accomplish what you're trying to do.

Would really love to see the mini with a yellow tweed (think Blues JR NOS or the new EC amps) covering...
