Hi. I 'm a new guy on the forum who is going to need help.
Just started with electric guitar ( Yamaha pacifica 112) and I am using a Mustang 1.
Can anyone recommend a preset for The Shadows' music. Now you know my age group.

RickR's settings above are worth the time to enter them into the amp via Fuse software

https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets ... e/order-up

Hank Marvin 2 is also decent

Apache Marvin 2 is another good one

I sat down, input these settings then clicked save and it is nowhere to be found. I will have to redo this when time permits. Wish someone had the preset available so I could just put it on my Mustang II.

Rick, I need some clarification. Keep in mind I am using a Mustang II and not a III.
Let's dissect a portion of the above preset:
Tape Delay
Level 4.3
Time 262ms
Fdbk 3.4
Wow 3.9
Brite 5.8

Are these settings what you see on the "Virtual Knob" in the Fuse program or what you see in the window . I ask because turning the knob on several of these settings will show something like 54 while the know may show 3. I set these parameters exactly as you put them but the knob will be way down to get these low numbers as seen in the window while turning the knob. OR to I put the knob in that position as marked on the knob itself? Hope I am making myself clear enough. Please let me know.
Thank,
Gary

UPDATE For Mustang I and II users (using Fuse): After Clarification from Rick R the settings are the actual virtual dial markings on the Fuse Program and not what is read in the windows on the Fuse program (the exceptions are the Ratio 354 on the Stomp Compressor and the Time 262ms on the Tape Delay)
For Mustang III and above he just set his using the nice onboard display on his amp.
This is really the best one I have used now that I have it set properly.

Hi guys. First timer here.

Was pointed towards it by a friend. Like the OP, I too am a big Shadows fan.

Have a Fender American Standard Strat, to which I have fitted CS 57/62s. I used to play it through a Vox AC15 Blue Celestion. Another friend has given up playing the guitar and sold me his brand spanking new Fender Mustang III v2. I'd like to play the Shadows stuff through it. so am glad my friend pointed me to this Forum and thread.

@Rick R and LoveThatBass

Could you kindly point me to where I can get Rick R's Shadows presets? I tried that link you posted, LoveThatBass, but all I get is an error link. Any links that will enable me to download Rick R's settings would be appreciated.

Or, on the other hand, can I just dial in all those settings via the Fuse interface and then save the preset. I'm a total novice at using that Fuse software, etc, so please bear with me.

Please correct me, LoveThat Bass or Rick R.

Just connected my Mustang III v2 via the Fuse interface, and input those value of yours, Rick R.

Not quite sure if I am doing this correctly. Those numbers you have listed, are they the virtual knob clockface positions, or the actual percentage values displayed to be dialled in on the virtual knobs, before saving the preset?

Would be grateful for a response. Thank you.
