I played a gig last night and due to the loss of my Fishman acoustic guitar amp awhile back (stolen), I pressed my Mustang II into use as a monitor for my Martin D15 equipped with an LR Baggs pickup system.
I ran the line from the guitar to an A/B box - then took one line to the PA and the other to the Mustang. I had gone to Fuse and found a preset titled Acoustic Crystal Clear, and used that as my basic settings. Worked like a charm. Not as a great a sound as a real acoustic amp, but good enough to make myself heard onstage.
One more use for my Mustang II!

You know, a lot of times an electric guitar amp can sound woodier than an acoustic amp. The only thing missing is the high frequency content. I still say that a software controllable tweeter in the Mustangs would be really cool.

O.

That's a really good idea - I was thinking that myself when I was messing with the presets. Just the optional tweeter would make the amp acoustic friendly.

Glad you like the Mustang for your Acoustic. I wouldn't hold my breath for that tweeter, though.

Didn't think it would happen, but we can wish can't we?
I was surprised at how good it did sound - I've messed with acoustics through electric amps before, and they usually sound awful. This wasn't "high fidielity", but was usable until I can afford to get a real acoustic amp.

Does anyone know if the new acoustasonic combo amps are out yet? I have not seen any reviews anywhere.
