I have used a Vox Clyde McCoy Wah with my MIV and had good results.

Guitar > Wah > Amp, don't use the FX loop.

I am using a Vox V845 and a BudWah in my chain with a Mustang V and it works as good as if I am running them with my Blues Deluxe. The only thing I am using my effects loop for is running the outs into a Boss RC-3 loop pedal and then into my Motion Sound KPS200 for loop playback. So far all of my overdrives, compressors and modulation effects work good straight from the guitar into the effects and then into the input of the amp. My Big Muffs not to good though, to much gain I suppose.

I have an EH Cathedral and EH Stereo Memory Man I have been meaning to try in the effects loop, but have not done it yet..
