Does anyone know if it's possible to go out of the Mustang III FX loop send and in to the return/power amp in on another amp. I've tried but I'm not having any luck. Going from the Mustang's FX loop send jack, to my Marshall JVM power amp in jack yields no results. I'm wondering if something in one of the amps is not working. In theory it should work. I'd love to hear the Mustang preamp through the Marshall's 100 watt tube output section into my 4x12. I'm thinking it would be amazing.

It definitely should work. The FX send on the MIII -MV functions as a line out to whatever device you want to send it to. Try connecting another line level device to your Marshall amp.

I've run the effect send from my Mustang III to our PA mixer and the output works fine. Wonder if there is an issue with the FX send on your amp? Have you tried a pedal in the FX loop?

I was playing around with it last night and ran an old POD into the Marshall. It worked once I realized that the Marshall's master volume was part of the equation. My Mustang is at my neighbors house right now so I can't test it but I'm beginning to think I'm gonna have to chalk this one up to idiot error. I'm not sure if I tried the master when I had the Mustang plugged in or not, I'm betting I didn't. I think I was assuming that the power amp insert point was after the master and I would have to control the volume from the Mustang.
