Yup, it's there.... never used it, but it's there now.... (Don't know if it was there before)
I wonder what else is in there....

Hi SoMany,
The Mode Knob was'nt in V1.6 .
Requested it from the Tech Team and here it is in V1.8.
Should be useful for Shadows- Hank Marvin type repeats.
Well done Tech Team - I'll download V1.8 when I get home from Ca.
Jim

Great to hear that they were so responsive...
I used it for about an hour last night, and see no issues, but I didn't really do anything unusual either... Seems solid, but would like to know what else is in there that I'm not taking advantage of!

bobio,

Thanks for the heads up. I've downloaded and installed this update on my MIII.

Yes indeed, the multitap delay is now functional!

I have to admit, though, I was hoping to be able to create dotted-eighth + quarter note delays, but it doesn't seem to be possible with this implementation...
:(

Alan/Brad/Loren, please consider that another firmware feature request. (IOW, I'd like to be able to create a 3:4 delay.)

Still, it's always good to have a few more options (and of course I fully realize a fancy delay won't mask my lack of skill) so thanks to team Fender for coming through on this one.

PITA

Can the only new thing in the first firmware update for 5 months be adding one knob to one effect (nice addition as that is) ?

It really would be nice to know what else is in this update, with more people now beginning to find and install it even though it still hasn't actually been announced here.

Looks like the links have been updated and the firmware is now labeled simply 1.8 rather than 1.8.39.

I also noticed there is now a new version of Fuse 2.4.0.

Looks like I am going to be doing some updating when I get home this evening. Still not much information but they do appear to be official releases now....

Loren has posted here very recently on a number of other threads, but still nothing on the Fuse and firmware updates, which seems pretty odd.

Does Fuse 2.4 include firmware update 1.8 ? And what is in both ?

A post from the mods really would be appreciated, please.

There is a new dial on the advanced amp settings called "USB GAIN" that I don't remember being there?
