I am having problems with the control knobs on my mustang v head. They will not work at all. This started right before a huge gig so I'm more upset than I would have been if it happened at home. The only knob that works is the master vol. My tones were off as a result of this malfunction. What could the problem be? I restored it back to default settings and had no luck. I have another gig St the end omf the week a nd dnt have enough time for s replacement to get here and set my channels up.

So what happens if that does not work. Obviously it will be covered under warranty. But will fender 2 day mail me another since I have a huge gig this sat? I'm talking 3-4000 people at least.

Did you even TRY my last suggestion?

You're playing a gig for 3-4k people, and you have no backup? No good amps?
Regarding Fender's turnaround time, you should call them, not post on a forum. They'll tell you, but I would expect at leats 6-10 weeks for service and shipping.

Yeah I tried updating the amp. It would not take. The only other amp I have is a 65w 1-12 crate, a practice amp. Problem with that is, the tones are all wrong for the style we play. I talked to the dealer I purchased it from. He said shipping for a replacement should take 7-10 days. This gig. In particular, is very important. It's for the Illinois Patriot Guard Riders annual fund raiser. Being a veteran myself, It is extremely important that I perform this one.

Hey brg82,

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with your Mustang. How long ago did you purchase the amp?

Beings it's for a good cause, maybe the dealer can lend you a reasonable replacement.(?)
And thanks for your service and sacrifice... The vast majority of us appreciate it tremendously.
