Hi guys,

The guitar dealer where I got my Mustang I amp lost the Fender Mustang I & II DVD.
How could I get it? I live in France.

Regards.

The Fuse software and manuals that came on the disk can be downloaded from Fender for free. Go to the Support tab at the top of this page and click on "featured downloads" - Fuse software should come up straight away.

Not sure about the other software that was on the disk - Amplitude Fender Lite and Abelton Lite - maybe Loren/other mods can advise ?

Hi depepat,

Thanks for your answer.

I downloaded and installed FUSE software. It works like a charm!

I didn't find Amplitube Fender Lite and Abelton Lite on the Web. Is Amplitube 3 the new Amplitube Fender Lite?

The 'lite' version of Amplitude Fender that comes with the Mustang amps, like the full retail version of Amplitude Fender, has a specific focus on the software modelling of Fender amps - a bit like some of the amp models in Fuse/on the Mustangs, except that Amplitude can be used as a plug-in inside recording software, whereas Fuse cannot.

There may be some overlap between the content of Fender Lite and Amplitude 3, which is effectively a free 'host' for a range of retail Amplitude based products.

As a legitimate first-time buyer of a Mustang amp, you should be able to get hold of the Amplitude Fender lite and Ableton software somehow, even without the original disk - maybe Loren, who moderates this forum for Fender, will chip in here with some further help/advice.

Oh no ... not even close. I have Amplitube Fender, Amplitube Fender LE and Amplitube 3.

Amplitube 3 is a VERY full featured and comprehensive application. LOTS of amps, cabs, mics, rack effects, stomps and setups.

Amplitube Fender LE is a cut down version of Amplitube Fender.

Check out the IK Multimedia site and you'll see what I mean.

Amplitube stuff works good and sounds very well indeed. You need an external audio interface and a set of studio monitors to get the best out of it.

Many people who try to use their computer sound card or on-board sound have problems because they often don't play well with ASIO. You need something more purposeful like an external audio interface.

Many people also try to play through their home stereo or a guitar cab ... those things add their own coloration ... such as lots of bass and a muffled sound. Amplitube sounds much better through studio monitors.

Excellent information, Ken. I agree that AmpliTube is more stable when a dedicated audio interface is used instead of the PC's onboard sound card. The LE version is intended to introduce users to AmpliTube's software modeling.
