For those interested in a quick little "tone clip" 8)

This little video and ditty was recorded on a Zoom Q3HD.

My setup includes:
-Fender Pawn Shop Series Mustang Special (lovin' this guitar)
-Mustang II set to the '57 Deluxe with nothing but the '63 Reverb
-BOSS ME70 set to the TWEED PreAmp

Hope you like. I'm still dialing in my tone a little bit, but for just plugging in and playing I was pretty happy.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for posting that... Naturally I checked out your other vids.... :):)

First let me say your singer is a "natural"... right in her range no stressing the vocals... and bang on tune with the music... that's an absolute must in any gig.. in my opinion..you guys are lucky to have her...

2nd... three people just having fun... that's what it's about... maybe this should be the first comment...

3rd... I love it when people play "clean" ... I didn't hear any mistakes... in my humble opinion playing clean is hard... man you hear every little mistake.... great playing and great job...

4th... you three gelled together really nice...

5th... you showed off the Mustang 2 really well... I have the Mustang 4 and am loving it...

6th... I use a Mexican Strat ( best bang for the buck) the Mustang 4 and also downgraded from Boss Gt10 to the ME 70....

7th... I'm loving it all... :):)

Thanks for posting.. your the real deal and I love it.. !!

Wow, I blush
Thanks so much for reply. We are lucky to have her and we love playing together.
And must say that the older I get the more and more I fall in love with those clean tones!

Once again thanks. We're just starting to put this band together. First gig should be in the next few weeks, but it just feels good and right. So I'm hoping a lot of people will enjoy what we do.

Really, really great, I enjoyed you guys playing and singing.
I have a Mustang I and really like it. I've recorded with it as well, I'm still just amazed with the amp.

Loved it! All of it!
As has been said the clean tones used are much harder to shine with and you did shine my friend.
Your singer is just fine. Born to sing blues.
That Mustang surely does a great job on your vids and the 57 being my favorite amp, I think it truly does justice to the 57 Deluxe.
Please, send more! And may we keep some of them for our ipods??????

You guys are great. Thanks for all the kind words.

I just thought that posting a video sample like this might do a better job than an actual written review. Then everyone could make their own decision on whether they liked the tone or not. I know, no high tech recording here, but thought it might give people a little idea of what kinds of tones I had found after only playing through it 2 or 3 times.

Once again, thanks for all the kind words. I've still got a long ways to go with my playing, but having a lot of fun with this little group :D

And here's a second link with excerpts from 4 different tunes:

Enjoy!!!
