Warning If you have problems with yours PLEASE read no further.
I took a chance and ordered mine the end of June 2011.
(after reading about all of the complaints about fizz.)
First thing I did after receiving it was check it out for fizz.
Plugged in to my Carvin cab (2-12" British series speakers) one disconnected to
match impedance.(one channel)
No fizz no matter what I did.....(loud....soft...all clean)
The 65 twin blew me away....so fenderish.
Played pro in the 60s and early 70s, and always used Fender amps....
(Showman..Bandmaster...Bassman)....Tubes oh yeah !!
Due to other obligations, I had to wait until now (Aug 20) to run it through
a reality check. (rewired cab to stereo)
First band practice with this amp.
WOW !! all I can say is...WOW !!.
killer tone and loud as hell.....(Thats Rock and Roll)
Goes without saying I will need to tweek some (most) of the presets.
But....I would say.. If you are thinking of getting an amp, Give this a try.
Again, mine is a Mustang 5 Head...(Gonna get the 4X12 cab next)
You can't beat the price for all that Fender tone.
(gonna sell my Vox Tonelab le)
I hope Fender will make good for those that have had problems, but,
give this amp a try.
Rok on

Good to hear rockerz, I was beginning to think I was the only one with no fizz. I also have a Mustang V running into 2 1x12 Egnater cabs. I use dual humbucker guitars and still no fizz.
I was really surprised at how good my cabs sounded with a modeling amp, and how it feels like I am playing a tube amp. Tweaking the presets is well worth the effort. I hope the "fizz" does not show up on my amp, like a virus or something.

I've had a Mustang V since about March and just love it. I've got a custom built Marshall 2x12 type cab wired up in stereo with 2 Eminence Cannabis Rex speakers and it just kills for live gigs - gotta Mustang III for rehearsals :) I feel really bad for the folks with the fizz issue, but there is no denying that the Mustang is a tone-monster. I fear, based on all the bad press around the fizz issue, that Fender will likely abandon this amp line in a year or two - such a shame...they could take this technology so much further with newer amp models and effects.

Just played mine, MIII, at practice tonight. Love the grab and go. 65 Twin model with the compressor on for a slight boost and a Tele all night. Just killer blues tones. Yeah I play my DRRI on gigs but for practice and jams the Mustanges are just killer. No fizz don't know if I would hear it anyway.
