Hi There
I wanted to emulate Hank Marvin echos..
For this I need to Put two echo stompboxes one after the other.
This is not possible..is there any solution that I have not found as I am new on Mustang I.
For those who are wondering, I need to emulate Meazzi echoes with several heads at different time intervals.
Thanks
Rob :D

Hi Rob

I too have been trying to emulate that Hank Marvin/Shadows sound with my M1.
I feel that we are at the mercy of Fender to release a software update which will allow two of a kind effects pedals, one after the other.

Maybe if enough of us ask, will get our wish....

Failing that. I am considering an additional effects pedal and have it loaded with Charlie Hall's, Echoes From The Past (EFTP).

The main reason why I bought a Mustang I, is because of its clean sound,built-in effects,
and the Fender Fuse software.
Don't get wrong, I am happy with the amp, but would like to be able to have two Delay pedals in the same preset.

I have tried the G-DEC 3 30 which has a 'tapped' echo setting. This can be adjusted to produce the skipping-head echo effect you are after and does sound very Hank. I have asked the forum before if the Mustang series has the tapped delays and was assured by Loren that this is available via the FUSE software. Hope this helps.

Are you talking about a multi-tap delay? You should be able to find one in FUSE.

Hi There

I have already tried using the Tapped Echo and Reverb. It's OK, but i was hoping for something a little better...
I also tried using the Multi-tap Echo for 'Apache' Adjusting the Mode and Delay Time, but found when it got to the so called 'Gallop' section, it didn't sound right.
Using mode setting -2,3, i found that i could not adjust the timing between the pluck, first echo and the second echo. (ie first echo 400ms, second echo 560ms)
Also tried using the Tap button in this Mode, but just can't get it right...

I have downloaded the Presets that others have presented, and again found them OK,
(Tried changing things in both Basic Amp and Advanced Amp settings).
I have come to the conclusion, I will just go with them..
Maybe the answer is there, but it will take someone with a greater understanding of effects, than I.

Multi tap delay is there..but on cannot adjust individually each 'head'
One specifies the first value and the software decides the other ones..but you cannot specify the values of 'other ones'
