hi there,

I'solved the speaker break up sound on my mustang III.
It wasn't the amp, it was my gibson les paul.
It turned out to be that my pick ups on my gibson were standing too high, so I turned them lower and the irritating speaker break up sound was totally gone.
The amp is gonna make me play a lot of more clean stuff now.
The only thing I'm waiting for now is the 4 button footswitch.
I am thinking to get me a Mustang IV also for big gigs, so this one will be with the 4 button switch.
Anyway, I'm verry happy with the amp.

Glad you got it figured out, Pete. It's great to know that a simple adjustment fixed the problem.
