Well the way I did it was:

Install the Ableton lite that came with the mustang.

Install the Fender ASIO driver that you can download free.

Connect the Mustang to the computer with the USB cable.

Fiddle with the non intutative Ableton setup and controls for a few hours until I managed to make it work.

Ableton lite looks pretty powerful, even in its "lightened" form. But I don't find it easy to use.

Hi,
you can try with the audacity free software.
I have used it, it is very simple and quite quick to configure. You have just to define the new input (your amplifier).
It seems that the program needs the ASIO driver to recognize the amp.

Good luck.

Just hook up the USB cable, then open your recording software, in my case Sonar X1 Producer, and then choose the Mustang as the input for the channel you are wanting to record on.

Hey Guys,

Diesel - Take a look at this KB article:
http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... d-playback

Olivier - I believe Audacity allows multi-track recording. You just have to keep adding tracks.

Yes indeed, I saw that. Now I have to see if I can play a Channel while recording on another one, next challenge...
Thanks bye.
